The project Who is Who in Croatian Science is the attempt to collect, at one place, the information about Croatian scientists.

The main objective of the project is promotion of Croatian scientists in Croatia and abroad and fostering of communication and information exchange among the scientists. All the data about one scientist are categorized in several main groups (Basic information, Biography, Education, Employment, etc.), and every category is subdivided into several fields.

In the initial phase of the project the data on every registered scientist were gathered.

Access to data is authorized and every scientist can access his/her data, change or update them. It is possible to download the databases into the database repository (photographs, documents, etc.)

All the data are permanently stored and can be used for personal needs of the scientists, institutions or wider scientific community.

Data can be retrieved in several ways.

The first way is to browse the list of scientists

• - alphabetically
• - by the institution name
• - by scientific fields and branches

The second way is to search the list of scientists through a simple search form, which requires only the scientist's first or last name. There is also an advanced search form, which allows more detailed filtering of the query.
