Edouard Ivanjko - Biography

He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb in 2001. Diploma thesis was “Mobile Robot Simulator”. He received the “Josip Lončar” award of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing for his excellent student grades during academic years 1997/98, 1998/99 and 1999/2000 respectively and the bronze “Josip Lončar” award as the best automation department student. At the present, he works towards PhD degree at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering in Automation, University of Zagreb. His research activities are oriented to mobile robotics, especially mobile robot localization and map building. He also leads training courses on Siemens industrial controllers (Simatic S5/S7 PLC controllers and STEP5/STEP7 programming tools).
